Hotel Umbra

Fairly clean hotel with incredible location in Assisi adjacent to the Rocca Maggiore fortress on the hill above the town, bars, the centre. The staff was consistently courteous and made it a really great stay. Beautiful and warm rooms, nothing too much trouble.

The breakfast was hearty, the pool was amazing, the beds were perfect. The room was classic double and very well furnished, nice to relax in. Generally everything was amazing, nevertheless the bathroom was really small. Marvelous location to an arezzo basilica.

Some people working there were not very helpful.

Excellent continental breakfast - tasty cakes, pastries, cheese, yogurt and fruit.

Good value, lovely family run hotel. The venue was neat, and we loved a super location. Beautiful view, a large balcony, good bed, too. All facilities were clean too. Moreover, it was easy to park nearby.

Every detail was fine and I truly enjoyed it. I had standard queen room which was adequate, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast, excellent service. Special hotel, 5 minutes' walk from the downtown.

Rooms were calm, friendly service, ideal location. The staff was efficient and the building was beautiful. Plenty of supplies in the room : climate control and coffee. There was a small garden in the hotel Ideally located venue. I loved a simple restaurant with a local menu.

It was exceptionally clean, and I loved wonderful location and people. Big bedrooms and comfy beds. They made my stay peaceful. Situated in a delightful area. I checked out a 13th-century church, that was set just a short walk away from the property.

The place turned out to be good value in comparison to other hotels. Hospitable staff and non-smoking room. Location in the middle of the city. Hotel was pretty clean and the service was ATTENTIVE.

Quiet location and very clean room. Ristorante il Vicoletto is within walking distance of the hotel. Barely a 15-minute walk from basilica di santa chiara, which was ideal for us...
